Every Step We Take....God Is Watching Us (Good Samaritan)

My writing today reminds me of that somewhat old song remade by Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, and others titled Missing You.   I just remember the lines " Every Step I Take and Every Move You Make......I'll be watching you......" If I think about it that is precisely words from our God.  He truly is watching us.  Right?

Sometimes, we are fine with that and think sure God, go ahead and watch because we aren't doing anything bad right?  Then there are times we are doing something we know God  wouldn't enjoy seeing us do.  We are wishing there was an off button we can press on the imaginary screen showing God all the good and bad things we do in our lives.  We would not want God to see the bad things we have done right?

Ok. Pause, I have got to throw in what just happened! Yesterday, I lost my real wedding ring again. Today I wore my back up wedding ring that Joe gave me on our 6 year wedding anniversary.  Of course, I prayed yesterday that I would get it back, and we looked everywhere and no ring.  I lost it because it was kinda loose by the way.  Marta, my friend and worker at Starbucks just came up to me and to my surprise said, "Sam?"  She opened her hand and there was my ring! Someone had turned it in to them yesterday!  I was like shut up! Shut up! " OMG I was extremely happy and shocked. Friends, God was watching me when I prayed yesterday that I would find my ring.  God knew exactly where it was.  God knew that someone would  turn in my ring! Thank you God! Thank you God! Now, I wear both rings and they look awesome together! Once I add my engagement ring to the two on days I am not alone total BLING BLING! Lol

Wow, there are not too many Good Samaritans out there huh? It's kind of funny because yesterday my writing was on being specific in our prayers. Perhaps, if I was specific in my prayer I would have gotten the ring back yesterday. Who knows? But, anyway God meant for me to get it back today.  I wish I knew who the Good Samaritan was that turned in my ring so I can personally say thank you. Wow, what a great start to my Friday! God heard my prayer and answerd it!
