Brit Nicole says in her song " I hear these people asking me how do I know what I believe? Well, I'm not the same me, and that's all the proof I need."
Have you ever thought about how others see you and make a determination of your faith? If you profess to be a Born Again Christian believer, how do you think people will define what that is? Just like the words in that song how do I know what I believe? I cannot show literal or concrete proof of what I believe. All I have is my faith and I believe that's enough. Our lives should be proof enough of how Christ changed our hearts for the good.
I truly believe that a person's life can say a lot about a person. Right? One can easily say they believe in God, but would other people who meet you for the first time be able to make that conclusion? I guess it is so crucial that we not only talk the talk about being a Christian, but we should also walk the walk.
If we walk the walk a little lopsided, I would think that would give the term " Christianity" a bad reputation. I don't think God would want that. If you are a true believer, you know how to keep your walk with God by not appearing too religious that you turn people quickly away from Christianity.
Sometimes, I meet people for the first time and later find out from other people the person I met is a Born Again Christian. I'm surprised and shocked. It really shouldn't be like that folks! I really hope that people who know me have a strong inkling that I am a born again Christian believer.
That is how it should be. Is your faith hidden?
