Cheer Up Sam!

I tried to walk a little this morning. My father figure Mike helped me by being ready for me if I fell.  And, I did stumble badly a few times.  If not for Mike's arm there to grab when the balance was failing, I probably would have hit the floor, perhaps head first?  I usually can prevent that from happening though, usually.  I was aiming for 5 minutes.  But, due to my frightening state of just bad mobility, Mike stopped me and told me to sit down at 3 minutes.

I was a little bummed out that I wasn't able to hit my goal of 5 minutes. Mike and Anne were both cheering me on and saying 3 minutes is better than nothing right? Anne was trying to make me feel better by saying some days are better than others.  Which is true.  Today was probably just a really bad day. Who knows?

You know maybe God was trying to stop me from having a really bad accident.  I hate to sound like a broken record but there are a handful of times I have had bad accidents.  Let me share another one. I'll start out by saying it could've been worse. I was at Starbucks one time and had to walk to the garbage.  I am not too sure what happened, but my teeth ended up hitting the garbage can and I fell to the floor and started spitting out pieces of my teeth. Long story short, I was ok. My dentist was able to give me new teeth and it looks like nothing happened! That was a story I will never forget!  I was sad for a little, but I was OK and my teeth got fixed! So, thank you God for always making the best out of the worst and, Mike and Anne are right, so cheer up Sam, enjoy your rest day tomorrow and be ready to try again Friday!
