Does It Just Take Faith?

Are you thinking I believe that?  Well, maybe if God created things that way. I mean, if we just believe something may or may not happen and poof our hearts desires and our very own will happens? Well, let me tell you what I believe. Drum roll please.......

I believe it begins with faith. Then I think trust plays a big part as well. Now, it's time for God to make his decision on whatever he chooses to allow. See, in our prayers we should also include that we want His will to be done, Can you imagine how difficult that would be? But, friends I cannot stress how important that little phrase can be. I think God may get pretty happy when He hears that even deep inside we kinda want our own will, there's is an even  bigger part of us that wants the will of God to be done.  I know sometimes I just don't feel it,  but that doesn't stop me from praying that my heart changes!  Even if the feeling isn't 100%. I pray and ask Him to change my heart.  And, when I think back, it does work!

Sometimes, I really like how He responds and sometimes I don't.  But, I can say that although I don't understand quite why He answered the way He did.  I still do try and continue to trust Him. His word does promise that he allows only the best for us.   So, that's good right!?  :D

* Philippians 4:6-7

understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

* Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
