Let me elaborate a little more. See, take your church as a human body. Each part of that body has it's own duty right? The hand cannot say to the head or back I don't need you. In order to be a functioning body all of the human parts should be working properly correct? Kind of the same as my church, since it's Christ's body in order for the church to be beneficial and to attract others to stepping foot in the church, the body has to be working and functioning properly. That's why we have a music ministry, bible study teachers, a pastor, youth directors, etc. There are many more hats in this church that's just slipping my mind right now, But, I'm sure you get my point. My challenge to you is do you know your purpose in your church? God knows your purpose and he can let you know what it is, just ask!
Romans 12:4-5 ESV
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
1 Corinthians 12:12-16 ESV
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body
