Okay, I'm thinking when some of you saw the title of my reading this morning, immediately you may have said, of course you love God. The answer is yes. Actually, the whole question is does one love God more than them?
I think when you add "more than them" that totally will alter the question and will no doubt be a little more difficult to answer with a " yes."
I want to take me and my husband. Joe knows that with all my heart I really love him. I know that also goes for him. He really loves me. How do we know that? We tell each other. We show each other. Well, I know that we both are trying our best to show one another's definition of love, AKA his or her's love language. I know that we are still a work in progress..
Now, let's take some of you guys. What about those of you have children? Do you love God more than them? Or, how about those of you you are pretty wealthy? Do you love God more than money? Or, let's take it down a notch and say do you love God more than your dog or any other pet you may have?
Remember, it's easy to just say your answer is yes. However, we also need to remember that God truly does know what is in our hearts and what we are thinking in our minds.
I think it is best to show that we love him more than...... by our actions. What is God's love language? I think it might be all of them. I also think that he will put in your heart ways, He would like us to fill his love tank.
Not bad, about 45 minutes! Oh I wanted to add something. You know what I am to Joe and vice versa. The other day Joe just said to me you know that I love you right? You are my number two! Awww! I replied with you are my number two too! I don't think I've ever been so content being number 2 instead of number 1 LOL. God is truly the number one in everything and when it comes to anything!!!!
Now, time to get ready for my breakfast date with the parents. Joe is already getting ready. Gotta go! Have a blessed Sunday everybody!
