His Opinion About Sex

You know, at first, I was going to say the opinion of God about the "S" word. But, what is the point? I hope we're all adults here, and if not, then maybe you shouldn't be reading this, right now.

I'm going to share my thoughts about what I think God's opinion is about sex. First of all, I think that our God thinks that sex is a beautiful thing. And, he wants all of us to think the same way about sex. What are your thoughts about it?

Not only do I think that sex is a beautiful thing, but I also think that God does not want us to abuse the beauty of sex. Do you guys know what I mean? I think that you do. It's sad because that is what our society portrays as sex. Nowadays, sex can mostly be about fun and games, feel good yet temporary foreplay, and the final results of hurt and pain equaling platonic feelings.

Does that sound familiar? Does that sound like something, you are currently going through or perhaps just went through?

I'm thinking that if you are human, you have probably, been there. Maybe, your specifics will differ greatly, or how deep you let yourself sexually become involved with another person. However, please do think about what I'm saying. What is similar is the choice one made to engage in sexual relations with another while at the same time being disobedient to the law of God and his words. Friends, his words are a pretty clear description of how he would like his creation to enjoy the gift of sex.

Am I making sense? Am I tugging at anyone's heart? I am not trying to make you feel bad because of what you are actually doing. I have my own set of ways I disobey God. Sex being utilized the wrong way is just another form of that disobedience to God I am talking about. 

Sex really is a beautiful thing. What we may see on these talk shows nowadays or on shows like Divorce Court, over intense rivalry between a man and a woman, that is sad.  These couples were created by our Heavenly God to be happily lifelong married partners in Christ. And, things like that become a way for people who are in or out of the circle to become discouraged. I'm going to end this writing with sex is a beautiful thing. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
