He Hated Them

Before, I start the reading for the day I want to give a shout out to these two nice people I met yesterday. Fielden and Kathy. I also want to say hello to Somer.  Thank you girl for getting me napkins from across the room today. I pray that these people will be encouraged by the readings.

I used to temporarily work at a place, I'm not going to share the name. I was a recruiter with a boss named Dave. I'm not going to share his last name.  This was one of my first careers coming out of college.

Remember, I was a jill-of-all-trades. I have been around the block. Well, career-oriented. Get your mind out of the gutter! Lol Seriously, I have had a taste of what careers my Bachelors of Arts in Communication degree was all about. Not all the careers, please don't misunderstand. But, just a taste of a handful of careers needing a communication degree.

Anyway, this was one job that really struck out to me. This memory was pretty well embedded in my mind, for some reason.  I'm thinking it's because God wanted me to share my thoughts with you this morning.

Unlike probably most of humankind, Dave absolutely hated Friday's and he loved Mondays! I really don't know what Dave's home life was like, but I was thinking it may have a part in his feelings about those two particular days.

Was it bad to hate Friday's? I don't think so. But I do not and should not like the word hate.  I did ask what was up with the hating of Friday's. This man would just prefer to work.  He would work everyday of the weak if he could. He was the boss, so why wouldn't he be able to? Right? I don't know Maybe he even did sometimes before? I wouldn't be surprised.

Anyway back to the word hate. You shouldn't hate anyone. You guys doing that? Member God is all about loving one another?  So, if you hate someone where is the love?

Hating on someone doesn't make you feel good. Right? I've been in your shoes.  Perhaps, somewhere in the back of my mind I still am in your shoes. And,  that's my problem. That's the problem that needs to be fixed. That's a problem that needs to be changed  from hate to love.
