There Is Power

Before I start my writing, I just want to share something. Before I fell asleep and took my little morning nap. Not be too descriptive, all I will say is I was feeling pretty disgusted. YEAH, I think that's a good word for what I was feeling, disgusted with how I was acting and I was feeling disgusted with other parties in the how they were treating me. Yeah it's all I will say about that.

Then, I decided to be little miss disobedient to the Lord. I knew what I had to do. I know what I'm called to do. I've been doing this blog because I need to encourage people. I'm almost at 50,000 views with this thing. I must be doing something right. I must be doing something that makes the Lord look good and make others feel a little good by the Lord and his words of encouragement and comfort.

You know what?  I'm sorry for the delay. I know I usually have the writing up by at least 7 or 8. But I fell and I let the evil one get to me. You know what though? The prayers from all of us that I asked for worked!  I fell asleep and when I woke up I was totally encouraged. That feeling of encouragement led me to do my reading today. Thank you all for your prayers.

Do we all understand and see what happened here? The power of Prayer is what happened, and is what will happen when we decide to talk to our Heavenly Father and ask him for help.

It could be help with anything. Maybe you need strength. Maybe we need comfort. Maybe we just need to feel encouraged. We got to ask him. Ask God for what we need. Then, I'm not going to say that he will always literally provide what we need. However, he will provide strength and comfort to help you with whatever you're going through.

I'll give you an example. Maybe, I'm home feeling horrible health-wise. I just need to get out of the house but I really can't because Sam can't walk. I mean I can kind of walk but not really safely or normal.

So, what is the Lord going to do? Well, that I would not be able to tell you. I can offer some deep thoughts and share what he is able to do, what he can do. We can count on the Lord to give us strength when we ask him for it. You don't know how many times I've fallen and the Lord has helped me get up! Remember, we won't exactly know what the Lord will provide. However, we can rest because we know that he will provide strength to go through whatever trial you're going through.

I am not going to let living with multiple sclerosis get me down. But, let me end this writing by sharing something with you. Even just this morning, my MS totally tried to get me down. I'm not going to do that because the blog is made to encourage people not make you feel down or express my sadness and give pity parties. Go watch the news for that if you want to get sad. Read this blog if you want to be encouraged by the words of the Lord!

There definitely is power in prayer in our Lord Jesus Christ. Have a wonderful Monday everyone!
