I decided to let you guys finish the end of that. It really could be anything right? Everybody's different. I'm going to say I'm thankful for a lot of things but for this writing I want to talk about how thankful I am for my husband.
Fellow wives, did you know we needed to do that? Yep, God wants us to do that. Have you told your husband lately that you love him? If so, good for you. I'm not sure how your husband feels about you telling him you love him. It's always nice to hear. But depending on his love language, it may not really mean much. What I can tell you is that respect is what the Lord says we should show to our husbands.
Occasionally, maybe tell your husband why you are thankful for him. Tell your husband what you appreciate about him. I wouldn't usually suggest checking on Google, but for this instance they're pretty accurate. So, I suggest checking on Google "Ways to show my husband love."
You know what? I also suggest finding out your guy's love languages too. Like my husband is not really into words. I mean, he could care less sometimes if I said I love you. He would much rather see it through my actions how much I love him. Me, on the other hand, have quality time and words of affirmation. The wives' love language and the husbands' love language may differ. You have to figure that one out for yourselves.
Encouraging thought for the day:
Why don't you tell your spouse that you appreciate him or her for all that they do for you.
Colossians 3:16 ESV
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
