God's Fashionista

Isaiah 61:10 (NKJV)

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord. My soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness

Before I send my reading for the day I just want to give a shout out to Nick, a new worker at Starbucks. i would also like to give a shout out to Doug. He was just a nice gentleman that was sitting right next to me. And, I'll say hi to Teresa a nice woman who was in line getting her coffee. I was able to give these three people my card and I pray that the three of you guys would be encouraged by my writings on this blog.  Okay, .time for my reading!

Do you have style? I'm not going to say if I do or don't. I will say that there have been some people who have approached me and complimented me on the way that I dress.  There are days that I feel like I want to dress like that of a fashionista.  But, I also know  there have been days when I just feel like dressing in drab not so stylish clothing just as long as it's comfortable  type of clothing. Nothing wrong with that right? Well....  here are some thoughts

Do you think that  if you are a fellow Christian, we need to stand out?  I really think so. I actually already stand out. Sitting here in my wheelchair, not being able to walk normally having little to no control of whatever it is I would be holding etc.

So, I think I am standing out right down to the core. Lol I just realized something and yes when I'm doing is making my disability seem fashionable! Fellow Christians, that is what we need to do make what being a Christian is a good thing and in a way very very attractive.

When I dress all dolled up  and like that of a fashionista, that catches people's eyes. Just a simple, "  I like your shirt" can lead to you having a conversation with the other person and possibly introducing and leaning that person to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior!  How you like them apples? That would be pretty cool right?

Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying. It is not mandatory for anyone to dress like that of a Fashionista. No.  I merely am just trying to point out that maybe there should be something and only you can fill in the blank that will make you stand out. Friends, if you guys are able to stand out as a child of God, then maybe God is using you  to help bring "that person you are speaking with" to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. You never know right?

God wants to use us for his name to be glorified! Are you afraid to stand up for God? Whom Shall you fear?
