Those things would really stink to the fullest or be super super unfortunate! That kind of news would hurt like the Dickens! Being told such words of negativity may even make one feel suicidal. It could be any bad feeling. I think you guys know where I'm going with that.
So, now what is a human to do when in that kind of situation? I am going to give my thoughts and I'm thinking you guys are not going to like it. Not one bit. There are even times I struggle with this opinion I know I need to have.
I'm talking about in all things. God would like you, me, and all of the human race to be thankful, and shower God with thankfulness, he so deserves. I mean for anything. Whether it be good or bad. If it makes you jump for joy or fall on your Knees in excruciating pain, we need to be thankful.
Oh wow, well how does one do that? How and why would you thank God for hardships and pain? It's definitely a difficult thing to do. It's definitely I know. It's definitely something we choose not to do.
Coming from a person who has struggled with this concept, I will say it is only by the grace of God that I'm able to be thankful for the bad, God has allowed in my life. Friends I know it's difficult to be thankful to our God when we are going through things we don't necessarily feel thankful for. Let me end my writing with a quote I read in the daily bread devotional this morning. It said, " We can be thankful to our God who sees in every situation an opportunity for us to trust him- whether or not we see his purpose."
Have a fantabulous Saturday!!
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." Let's all be thankful to God for saving us!
