Just Like E.B. Part II

Before I start my writing I want to give a shout out to a couple people I met yesterday at Starbucks. I was unable to submit a writing yesterday because something happened with editing. It's okay, at least I submitted it today!

First of all, Ben was sitting at the table right next to me. And, I had asked him if he can get one of the Starbucks workers because they gave me a really bad cup of coffee. So, my girl came over to me and she fixed my coffee right away.  Yum! Then I gave this nice man Ben a card so that he can be encouraged by my readings. Then, to my surprise, a little bit later he put a cookie in front of me and said this is for you! Wasn't that nice?

Oh, and after lunch, the Lord spoke to me again and told me to offer my card to this other lady sitting in the same table Ben was at. So, I said excuse me I would like to give you something that will hopefully encourage you. Wow, she was so thankful for it. I told her the Lord told my heart she needed encouragement. And. she said that she did. Wow. I hope that you two are encouraged by my writings. Remember to start the day with encouragement! Oh man the name of this woman totally slipped my mind. Girl, if you can, please message me your name so I can give you a shout out!

Okay today, well, yesterday I actually wrote this. Today I'm just editing it. I'm going to continue writing about E.B. Oh, for those of you who don't know E is for Emerald which is my birthstone and B is for blue which is my husband's birthstone (sapphire). And, E.B is my cat. Feel free to read the other story I have about her for more encouragement. :-)  I want to share a story of how my beautiful cat and some of her actions totally remind me of actions the Lord says that he will put forth in the future.

A few mornings ago E.B did it again. I was in my room chilling. Joe was in the shower and he left the door open because when you have to go then you have to go. And, E.B had to go. It was kind of funny because I totally heard water louder than if the door was closed so I quickly got up looked out and there was E. B right about to go into the bathroom. We stared at each other for a little bit. Then I stared away cuz I think she was shy to go into the bathroom with me looking at her. So, I turned away. And she did her business. Considering she is a cat, she couldn't necessarily close the door. And, when Joe is done in the shower of course he's going to feel the cool air. Suddenly, I hear something to the effect of "How rude!" lol

Friends, when the Lord decides to come back, that is exactly what he's going to do. That's what it's going to be like. I'm not saying you're going to be in the shower when he comes back. Well. maybe you will be. That, I don't know. I'm saying that it will be a surprise. See, E.B. quickly did her business and then left. Joe was left with a surprise. GOD is going to do his business coming back to collect his children and he's going to leave. It's going to be fast.

Now, if you are not a child of God and you don't know him, listen to this. Oh, God is coming back to collect all his kids. BUT, the people who do not know God will be left behind. They will have to experience the tribulation. If you don't know the meaning of that, I would look it up. All I will say is those are going to be some really hard times.

See, we need to understand that the Lord is going to come back to get his people so they wouldn't have to undergo or experience the hard times that are to come. Do you guys see how I am correlating that with EB and her story?  She came back to the bathroom did her business, was really quick, then left cold air and discomfort. When we think about what will happen when it comes to the Lord coming back, that cold air is nothing compared to what he has in-store for the people who are left behind.

Just a side note, yesterday as I was in Starbucks the door kept opening and I was experiencing the cold air and was so just putting in my mind how bad it really is going to be and I'm so thankful for Jesus. Be encouraged because if you know Jesus, you won't have to go through the times of tribulation! Are you thankful you have decided to follow Jesus too? I hope so!

1 Thessalonians 5New International Version (NIV)
The Day of the Lord
Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing

Encouraging thought for the day:

Are your grandparents still alive? Give them a call and just say hi and maybe I love you!
