Before I submit my reading this morning I have to give a shout out to three girls I met so far. First, this lovely and nice woman Veronica. She was in line I think and I had asked her if she can get one of the Starbucks workers because the drink that they gave me was pretty bad.a It wasn't what I usually order. They fixed it. And, one of the Starbucks workers came by Me. Her name was Darien. She was so nice and got me a straw for my coffee, and napkins. I had also given her a card and she graciously accepted it. Then, l thought I was done but the knock (the Holy Spirit) went off and this lady who was in line was really nice. I offered her a card as well. So, hi to Veronica, Darien, and Luz. I pray that you will be encouraged by my writings and I will see you here again soon! To all of you readers out there Happy Valentine's Day!
Let me ask you guys a question. Who knows maybe you are like me. When you were a student back in school, either in Grammar School, High School, or even in college, did you have to work with numbers a lot? Now, I'm talking about those people who chose to get an education on their own or maybe with the push of their parents hehe
I would probably say that the majority of our country does have common sense and sooner or later will show to others some form of intelligence in their own unique way.
So, directed to those people who had a taste of getting an education let me ask. Did you guys like Math? Like algebra, trigonometry, even in chemistry, isn't there some simple and common math?
Now, if you ask this question to Sam. She will say no she doesn't like numbers that she has to figure out equations to and stuff. My husband would playfully and jokingly make fun of or tease me for my lack of smartness when it came to math. Compared to him and his genius math skills. :-) In his defense, I'm going to say that I kind of Leave Myself open when I say stuff like this problem and these numbers are giving me a headache.
Anyway, why am I talking about this? Well, I'm thinking there is one number that speaks so much comfort and also reminds me of the strength God says he will give to those who ask him.
That is the number one., once is the number of time Jesus was born. lived his life, was crucified, died for us, and rose again. All it took was one time., now for those unbelievers out there. Please do think about this writing and maybe you too will choose the number one when it comes to accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior.
Encouraging thought for the day:
It's Valentine's Day. Forget about your problems for the day. Just Smile for your friends and family. And, if you're feeling up to it even hug a stranger. However, if you are a woman maybe don't hug a stranger especially if you are a female and they are male.
