Oh, He Will Tell You!

Good morning DT readers! Let me start out this writing with a question. Are you ready and prepared, for Christ's return? I'm hoping to say you are saying you are. We better be! Right?

The million-dollar question is how does one even prepare for the return of Christ? Well, first of all don't you think it starts with believing in Christ? Then, once you got that down, it's smooth sailing from there right? Well, I will say you are assured of your salvation and life after death is promised by God to be with God.

That deserves an Amen right? However, that does not, I repeat, does not promise or guarantee you smooth sailing for the rest of your life.  Jesus said he will come back to earth like a thief in the night. It is definitely going to be a surprise return when Jesus comes back.

So, you believe in Jesus? Yay! Now I really think that he would want you to read his words in the Bible.  You really need to read what he has to say, especially read how he wants you to get through this life. If you would just step in the Bible you will find that God left you a bunch of Life Application verses that are only there to help you.

Now let's fast forward to the return of Christ. Remember, nobody knows, even the angels and the son but only the father God knows when he's returning. It's amusing to me when people think they can predict the last Earth Day.

So, that means these people that are so knowledgeable about the bible and are so good will go to Heaven? Yeah, I don't really know. Do you know Christ? Do you not know Christ? Let me assure you that Christ knows if you know him.

When you are standing face to face with Jesus and you do know him, then I'll see you guys one day in heaven. Now, if you don't know him he will tell you to get away from him because he does not know you. I don't know about you but I don't want the God of the universe to tell me to get out of his sight. That would really stink right? Folks, don't you want to be a friend of God? I do!

Encouraging thought for the day:

Do you guys know somebody who shares the good, The Bad Times, and the Ugly times with you? Why don't you go and tell them how much you appreciate that. I'm thinking they will really love that!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4English Standard Version (ESV)

2 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.

Matthew 7:21-23New King James Version (NKJV)

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Matthew 24:36New King James Version (NKJV)

36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven,,but My Father only.
