Now back to my normal daily writing. Oh, before I start, I just want to say hello and give a shout out to Katherine. I could not find my gloves this morning so I asked if they were on the floor. I also want to say hello and thanks to Robert. Remember, as I said before, I always get a Starbucks bag so I don't have to walk across the room just to throw my garbage out. Well, like I can even walk? LOL Okay, I pray that you two people are encouraged by my writings. Oh, hello also to AJ and BJ. Thanks to my godkids for being my follower on my blog. I hope you two are also encouraged by my writings everyday.
Okay I believe I do know quite a number of people. Some believe in God. Some are devoted followers of Jesus. Some may even believe in Jesus. But, there are some people who don't believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. They just see him as a prophet. That last sentence makes me sad.
However, no matter what they believe about God, it does not change the fact that I love them for who they are. When I'm speaking to my friends, does the subject of God come up? Well, I would say I think it does sometimes. When that happens let me give you some of my thoughts.
Okay, I know very well that I really need to be alert and very cautious of the words I say. Let me give you an example. Okay, let's say you are talking to a loved one who does not believe in God. I'm thinking you really have to stay away from letting it become a debate. Friends, those of you who don't believe in God, had a Divine appointment to be speaking with this person who does believe in God. Let's say this believer in God is trying to share Christ with you. Nobody, not you or me, will know if their heart is telling them to accept God. Friends, we have to just focus on being a friend of that person.
Believers in God, you need to focus and share with others how choosing to have a relationship with God has changed your life for the better. Then, when it is the end of the laborious turn to talk, this is what we must do. Wait for it... Wait for it... We need to just listen
Oh excuse me but I had to pause again. One of the new Starbucks workers came up to me and gave me a fresh cup of hot water. I guess they figured the first cup of water they gave was getting cold. They were right. I'm just too busy doing my writing to even ask. So thank you Lord for speaking to their hearts so they can give me more hot water
Okay, back to the writing. Ok, so you should only have one goal in mind. Your focus is to share the beautiful results of what happened when someone chooses to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior!
“Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.
