Are You Like Doubting Thomas?

There's an interesting character in the Bible about a guy named Thomas. For those of you who don't know anything about him. Let me tell you. Thomas was one of Jesus' Apostles. I believe really loved Jesus and deep down inside he probably truly believed his teachings. But, I also would just like to point out that he was still human.

Now, the reason I am trying to point that out is because of this. After the crucifixion and Jesus rose from the dead, Thomas doubted and did not believe Jesus came back to life and rose from the grave.

Thomas said, " Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put in my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."(John 20: 25) 

Dun Dun Dun!!!! 8 Days Later Thomas probably got the shock of his life. Jesus showed up to his disciples and he basically told Thomas to put his hands into his side and to put his finger into the print of the nails. He probably said now what Thomas? LOL I'm just kidding hehe. In any case, the important thing is that then Thomas believed.

God can pretty much turn an unbeliever right to a Believer with the blink of an eye. I know a few people who are not believers and maybe they will become a believer one day and maybe they won't. I just don't know.

That's just one sad part that sadly to say is just reality. On the flip side and on a positive note, I also know people we thought would never become a believer, but due to prayer and most importantly the will of God, these people became believers. I repeat God can turn your heart around to accept him as Lord and savior.

How do you guys think I know that? Well, I'm not only a writer of this blog, but I'm a client. :-) I had somewhat of a belief in God growing up, but I wasn't a true born again Christian believer.

Before I chose to convert my life to Christ, I wanted proof! I basically was waiting for a miracle to change my mind. I was a skeptic, and God changed my heart. I didn't get saved until I was 15 years old.

Friends, we need to change our thinking from, show me God and I will have faith and I will believe to this. We need to take that step of faith, walk into God's domain and be amazed and see what God will do!
