When I was on vacation last month, my uncle invited me to attend their Church service the Sunday after their wedding. The pastor had an inspiring and encouraging sermon I will try my best to remember. Who am I kidding? Isn't the Lord going to just put in my heart all he wants me to remember? Time to write!
Have you guys heard about the story in the Bible about the man who was Born blind the Jesus made able to see.
A quick rundown of the story is this. There was this man that was born blind. Jesus so him and spit on the ground and made some mud with his saliva, and put it on the Man's eyes. Then Jesus told him to wash in the Pool of Siloam.
So, the man went there and washed and was able to come home seeing! His neighbors and some other people who used to see this man begging questioned if this was the same man?
The man who was healed from being blind assured them he was the same man and shared with them how Jesus is the one that helped him. Then they asked where is this man? The man said he doesn't know!
Friends, it really didn't seem like Jesus wanted to be made known as the one who made the man see. I don't think it's that Jesus doesn't want people to know him. Because, he definitely does. I am just saying even though Jesus is the glory, he doesn't want to claim the glory!
That's true it just goes to show how Jesus is. It shows his humility along with modesty. This man was born blind so that the works of God may be displayed in Him.
