It's All Up To You

I guess I can say welcome back my deep thoughts readers after a nice couple of days off for Fourth of July. Did you all see fireworks? It was awesome out my window at the condo.  It was probably from people who had some fireworks at home on the other side of the condo. I remember when I was little, well maybe not too little, spending Fourth of July at my parents' house. We had so many fireworks and spent a lot of money on the fireworks but the cops drove by and confiscated all of them. Family, you remember that? Anyway, on to my writing. I hope my series on Fibs in Marriages was very helpful to you! I know, for me, it was an eye-opener!

Now I'm going to take a break from series writing. Today I'm going to tackle and share my deep thoughts with you regarding this question I am about to ask.

Now, here is the question. Do you even know anything about your faith in God? That is a question for the Believers. What does going to church every Sunday morning mean to you? Are you going to improve your relationship with Jesus, or do you just want to go there, get the rituals done and leave.  Is that why you are going, so that you can do the rituals or sacraments?  That was what I was taught ever since I was a kid.  That is, until someone told me how much Jesus loves me and opened my eyes to the Bible.

I was speaking to a loved one one time. I was very careful not to be a critical. That person and I ended up comparing and kind of had a little debate. God did not like that. He just wants us to share the Gospel and then it is up to that person if they would like to accept Jesus as their personal savior.

That is really all we need to do. I've also discovered from non-Christians and maybe I too felt a little like this before. And, that is to work. Work, work, work my butt off to get to heaven. Be super nice to other people, or else.  As a kid, I was going to church because I didn't really have a choice in the matter.

Thank God, with time, I grew up. I had my own thoughts. One of my aunts started to tell me about Jesus. She did not force me.  She just told me what Jesus did for us and she told me to check out the Bible. Read the book of John.

And, that's exactly what I did. The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart.  Jesus spoke to my heart and the end result is that Samantha TV became a Christian. Thank you Jesus for suffering and dying for our sins. Thank you Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins, past present or future. Thank you Jesus for having a plan for my life and for giving me the strength and desire to follow through with your will.

I will end my writing with this thought.  I hope you will think about it and take it to heart. When it comes to your own personal life, and God, and your faith, remember that the Lord gave you your own mind and gave you the ability to feel with your own heart. There is no human here on Earth that can force you to believe or not to believe.  The almighty God himself will not force anyone to believe him! Folks, the end result of your spiritual life is up to you and you only!

Proverbs 16:9 ESV

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Joshua 24:15 ESV

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

John 7:17 ESV

If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.
