Good morning! Before I start my writing today I just have to give a shout out to a new Starbucks worker I just met today. His name was Nicholas. Nicholas I pray that you will be encouraged by my writings and you will start the day with encouragement. Thank you so much for getting me hot water for my cold hands.
Well, before I start my writing I just need to do a repeat apology because when I got home and read the writing I did yesterday it made no sense. I am seriously not that bad of a writer. It's just I do my writing with my voice and I can't really fully edit it until I get to a computer. So, I actually tried to fix it it when I got home. But then I got distracted, so I will definitely look at it again after I do my reading for today. So, in the future if you start to read it. And it makes no sense and is just crazy gibberish then now you know to just come back probably at the end of the day. Now, on to today's writing!
If you ever decide to become a true genuine bonafide Christian, everything in your life will be easy! Nope! Not even, not ever, well maybe sometimes. Who knows I don't know that. What I do know is that when your life is hard, we have to remember life is hard but God is good. When is God good? All the time? All the time! God is good!
Okay, I pretty much established that God is good even when our life is hard. I think we really need to try to remember and meditate on that fact because friends, it could be worse.
Here's a deep thought for you guys. Do you guys ever think that God allows things to be hard for specific reasons, reasons I'm later going to share. On the flip side the evil one loves it when we have to go through difficulty. I think we are more prone to sin because we are undergoing something difficult that can frustrate us.
It really is pretty simple. And, I know I can guess that this kind of scenario can really go to any human. Right? I'm thinking that you and me have several relationships with other humans. And, I'm thinking those are your friends and they like to be acknowledged or talked to. I think it's even better to make them feel appreciated for offering their help.
Now, put Jesus Christ in that scenario. If you are a true believer then Jesus is a friend. Now, isn't it starting to make sense? Okay, I want you guys to read this slowly so it will be embedded in your mind, and read it carefully. Maybe, it will help if you close your eyes after you read it what I'm about to say and meditate on it. Memorize it and keep it stored in your heart:
Jesus Christ is your friend. He like some of your human friends like to be acknowledged, given attentions to, and he wants his help to be appreciated. If we don't talk him, I'm thinking he's going to allow something probably not positive to happen in your life. He did it for me. And, I honestly feel bittersweet about that. I guess the positive thing is he got me talking to him again, a lot!
Revelation 3:20 ESV
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
