The Real Thing

Let me ask you guys a question. And, I want you to think about your answer before you blurt either yes or no. You know what? Well I believe this is going to be the most important question you will ever be asked in your whole entire life.

That question is, , "Are you a true believer?" Do you really have a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ? That's the question. perhaps you were asked. before? Perhaps, not? Well, I'm asking you now. So, now you have a chance to think about it? Right?

I'm not saying do you go to church once or more times a week? I'm not saying do you enjoy going to church? I'm not saying do you believe in the Ten Commandments? I'm not asking you if you believe in the Bible. I'm not saying do you believe in forgiving someone for a crime that you are affected by that seems basically impossible to forgive? I'm not asking if you study the Bible

How about when you don't beleve? I'll let you guys fill in the blank and put your own thoughts as the answer to that question. For me, if their is ever a scenario that is not pleasing to the will of God or if the holy spirit does some knocking to my head? Then, you better believe there will be some red flags in my mind!

Although, all those things I had mentionedt would basically define how a Christian acts. Please be aware that if someone chooses to act those ways that doesn't totally mean they are a True Believer of the Christian faith.

I myself called myself a Christian since birth. I was baptized as a baby which was really nice that my parents did that. And, the Bible does say that all the children go to heaven. automatically. ; ) children are innocent in the eyes of God. They have no way of deciding whether they want to follow Jesus Christ. Bible says did Jesus loves the little children. Once they grow up and have a thought process going in the mines, then it is their choice if they want to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

I think one thing we have to realize is that there is nobody on this Earth that can make us go to heaven The only person that can do that is  ourselves! Not our parents, grandparents, friends, liturgical people, no one but ourself!

I was talking to my one aunt. Auntie E. I was very encouraged by her words. I think it has been like a few years since she became a born-again Christian. What a blessing  because her kids as well have turned to Christ  and accepted him as personal Lord and savior. Again, it is so encouraging seeing the fruits of their labor and  see their hearts wanting to Praise Jesus!

To reiterate, a couple of weeks ago when I last saw her, Auntie Em really encouraged me. It's like I knew the truth of this matter. However, she really spit it out and it was a great reminder. Only you can save yourself. Only you can ask Jesus to come into your heart.

Folks, are you listening to what I'm saying? More like are you reading what I am writing. Well, I have no idea. But what I will try to do is offering you my thoughts. If you didn't get anything from this writing at least please get what I'm saying when I say only you can save yourselves. God created you with a mind and he wanted you to decide for yourself if you want to follow him. Remember he's not going to make you. It's our free will.

Out of this raining today ,  my thoughts are that you have to follow Jesus. I can't make you do anything. All I can do is present the gospel the wonderful words of Jesus and I can. share my testimony with you. Then you, only you can make the decision of whether you want to embrace Christ as Lord and savior.

Encouraging thought of the day:

Don't be a fake person in your words and actions. Nobody likes that. Be you are genuine self!
