If You Love Me

Before I start my writing, I just wanted to say hello to someone. I felt the Holy Spirit tell my heart to reach out and speak to this lady who was in line by my table. Hi to Johara. One thing I love about giving out my cards is not only to share the message of Jesus Christ but also because I get to meet cool people with unique names! Hope you are encouraged by the writings girl. And, Hi to Priscilla. She actually got my attention because you bumped my wheelchair by accident. So I asked her if she can give me hot water when she gets up there. And, of course I ended up giving her a card. :-) Thank you for the hot water for my cold numb hands!

Time to dive in. So, it seems like the playlist is 90s music in Starbucks today. Like 702, Mary J Blige, etc. So, of course a song from the nineties came into my head that I wanted to use as my title.

Do you guys remember the song, "If You Love Me"by Brownstone?  I just remembered one of the lines in that song and that's part of the reading today.

Anyway, what I want to talk about in my writing today is this. Now, I will be talking directly to Born Again Christians.  So, when you guys have the opportunity to talk with unbelievers, how do your conversations with them go?

When I speak to them, I speak to them with feelings and passion for my relationship with Christ. And, I also utilize a little bible verses that the Holy Spirit will open in my mind here and there, but not much. When my husband speaks to someone about Christ, I believe that he has been instilled with a Bible knowledge that I lack. I'm not saying I will never get it but I am saying that I believe that God created the males to look at things more and literally and intelligently with more Bible knowledge. I'm not saying that I don't have Bible knowledge. I think I do, whatever the Holy Spirit puts in my mind. However, I didn't grab it as quick as my husband did. Maybe in time I will get to the point of where my husband is with the Bible knowledge, but I know I'm not there yet. And, that's okay because where I am now is I guess where the Lord wants me. I believe I will get there one day whenever the Lord wants me to.

I remember one time I was talking with an unbeliever. When he found out that I was born again Christian, this gentleman started to say that he knew a lot about the Bible and he wanted me to ask him anything. of course I didn't contribute in that comment because I didn't need clarification. Good for him if he knew much about the Bible. This man did not turn his life over to Jesus Christ. So, I know his heart is not into a relationship with him.

I'm thinking if a person chooses to have a relationship with Jesus Christ then he or she will definitely have and want more of the Bible knowledge. Because the Bible is the word of God and he or she will want it in their heart. Those who are unbelievers, they want it still, maybe. However they store it in their head and they use it for their own Glory. Does that make sense?

The point of this writing is a continuation to my title.  "Just Say It! " friends, and you fellow believers please listen carefully to what I'm saying. Do you want people to know about Jesus Christ? If you are a child of God, come on!  I hope so. Remember God wants us to go and make disciples of all Nations....

Fellow Believers, that's all we can do. All we can do is just say it! We need to share the glory of God with other people. We need to share the guy that was crucified, died, and was was buried, and then rose to life for us because he loves us. We need to share with people that he offers the gift of eternal life with him after death in heaven. We need to share these things so that other people will be touched and impressed why the awesomeness of what God can do.

Then, people need to have the mindset of what God did for you. The fact of him being crucified, then him dying, then him being raised to life and forgiving us of our sins and giving us a gift of eternal life!

Fellow Believers, I repeat that all we can do is just say it. So just say and share the glory of God with others. Then you are done. It is up to the other person to make the right decision. That's it, your job is done. Just say it!

Matthew 28:19-20 ESV

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Acts 1:8 ESV

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
