God, however, wants us to be available for him all the time. I don't know what he's going to ask from us. I don't know when it will be that he is going to ask something from us. All I know is that he will! How do I know that, you may ask yourself? If you were a true born again Christian believer/child of God, oh believe me, you will know because you will not be at peace until you do wht the Lord is telling you to do. Oh, I have so been there. I've done that type of thing. Sometimes, it is just so uncomfortable if you just try to ignore the Lord's calling. It won't work. So don't even do it. Don't ignore but listen and obey what God wants you to do.
I remember one time a number of years ago, the Lord put a certain person in my mind to start heavily praying for. I remember because of my reading of this person's posts, in my internal feeling of this person's life, that person is truly searching for something. I began to understand why the Lord wanted me to pray, that this person would find what they were searching for.
Within time, it turns out this person accepted Christ as their personal savior. Me and my husband gained a sibling in Christ! Because of this one person coming to Christ, their whole immediate family was converted to become born again Christian believers as well!
Wow, right? Isn't that a happy ending? The reality is it doesn't always end up that way. I mean we can pray for people till we're blue in the face, but it is up to that person if they want to accept Christ as their personal savior and Lord. So, Christians just need to be available when God calls us to do his will. In this case, he wanted me to begin praying for people!
It really is a beautiful thing to see the fruits of our labor. We really do reap what we sow! Like right now, I feel like God is telling me to put Katy Perry's song. Good thing I am always available. :)
