Priceless Heart of Worship

I use what the Lord has given me, which is writing. I mean I use this gift he gave me for him. This blog that I'm writing on right now is what he provided to me so I'm using it and giving it back to him to share with other people his glory.

Now that my mobility it's kind of limiting me from doing other things I could be doing for him, I write a lot on this blog! Sometimes I have acquaintances and even loved ones that kind of ridiculed me and say I have no value in the fact that I write. And I'm kind of just wasting my time, I would feel like.
So, yeah that would really discourage me. See folks, I do what I can in this life to serve and to praise God. And when I get ridiculed for that, it kind of hurts. Call me sensitive. I know I am at times.

To reiterate, I can't really do that much anymore and I'm limited with doing certain things. That is why writing has become like a passion for me that I can give back to God! I'm actually using writing as a service to God, especially when I go to Starbucks and hand out my cards so that they can see my writings and be encouraged!

Thank God that through my husband, other Christian brothers and sisters, devotions, and their scripture reading God affirmed that it's okay that my one small offering to him is writing! So, I'm praying that I could do other things as well, but for now I'm totally content because the Lord is telling me to be totally content because what I do is a gift from God. And, what I do is try to give back to God for giving me this gift!

I think about that story in the Bible of the widow who gave like a penny in the offering plate. I know this is not about financial gain or any type of financial thing. However, I do see it as our act of worship can be a small as we can afford. And writing seems like a small thing, but God is making it a big thing!
"When we present God the best of our time, talents, or treasure with hearts motivated by love, we are lavishing Him with offerings of priceless Worship" (DB)

Romans 12:6 ESV

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;

Matthew 25:15 ESV

To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.

Mark 12:41-44 ESV

And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”
