It's Worse Than Death

What can be worse than death?

"Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

—Matthew 10:28

Are you guys thinking well Sam that's an interesting question? Maybe, you're thinking, nothing can be worse than death. Right? Personally, my thinking is "  the only thing worse than death my friends, and this is my opinion, is death without Jesus.

Let's think about it. If you don't know Jesus, then I am thinking that those people probably have a fear of death. Am I right? But, if you are a fellow believer you know you don't need to be afraid of death. Remember Jesus got you!

Be encouraged. Jesus said,  " Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; They cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and Body in hell." (

Many years ago, I heard of someone who was dying of breast cancer. She was on her deathbed in the hospital. The husband and the medical professional said there's nothing they could do anymore. They thought it was best  to pull the plug. The lady however, did not want them to pull the plug because she was scared of death. Her time was almost up.

Knowing that she was an unbeliever saddens me. The word of God told me and tells us what happens when you die if you don't turn to Jesus. That's all I will say about that.

If you guys are living and trusting in Christ, then there's no need to be afraid.

To live is Christ and to die is gain. God is holding our lives in his hands.

1 John 5:11-12

And this is the testimony God has given us eternal life. And this life is in his son. He was the son has life. He who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
