Fix My Eyes On You

Hello everybody. Sorry I was gone, but you know what?  All that matters is I'm back here utilizing the gift of writing that the Lord has given me. Time to dive in!

If you think about it, your eyes are such an important part of your human body. I mean your nose, your ears, your mouth, your sense of touch, and many other things are considered an important part of the human body, as well. However, for this writing, I want to focus on our eyes.

These past few days, for me, have been such a roller coaster of emotions. Do you guys ever get days like that? I know we don't actually know what Jesus looks like, but if he's in our hearts I can't explain it, but we formulate an image in our minds. Well, I do, but I don't know about you guys.

In these last few days I really needed some comfort, some peace, and just the feeling of everything's going to be okay. And, that's exactly what Jesus allowed in my life. And, I am so thankful for that. I'm alive doing my writing for my blog again! Praise God for that!

Let me ask you guys something. Are you fixing your eyes on Jesus Christ? The author of our faith is casting aside every sin and every weight! Let this song speak to your hearts and fix your eyes on Jesus Christ!

Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
