The Gang!

Before I start my writing I would just like to give a shout out to a few people I was blessed to give my cards out to yesterday at Starbucks, and also at the studio when I went to go watch Windy City Live. That was such a  blessing by the way! First of all, because I got to meet some people to get my cards to, and I pray that they will be encouraged by my writings! So, I have to say hello to Jerry. Jerry was a gentleman at Starbucks who was sitting right next to me and right when he was about to leave  my heart told me to give this gentleman a card and he was so nice. So Jerry, I pray that you will be encouraged by my writings!

And, praise God I was also able to give my cards to, well first of all, Ji.  I told her that I like to blog about the Lord everyday and how He helps me in my daily walk with Him. And I also told her about me and my husband's cooking show. I also would like to show the world you can still do stuff even if you're sick. Then after the show me and Aundreiwell took pictures with them and she was able to give them my cards. So Ryan and Val and Ji, I pray that the three of you will be encouraged by my writings.  Yesterday was so fun!

Okay, at the studio yesterday, I met this very nice lady named Shanti!  Thank you again for taking the picture of me and my caregiver! And, I feel so bad please forgive me because I forgot the other lady's name who is also very nice. I don't want to guess because I might just end up messing up your name. So, girl I forgot the name of, Hi!  But I'm praying that you guys will be encouraged by my writings because I believe the Lord made a way for me to meet you guys so that I can help you guys start your day with encouragement! Time to dive in!

Oh and this last picture is with me Bradford and Steve AKA Spinelli and Jason from the famous soap opera General Hospital. During the commercial break after there first segment, I was blessed 2 have them take a picture with me!

Stone Cold!

I'm pretty excited because I'm going to just share some thoughts from the sermon this past Sunday from Pastor Bryan Jacobs. Our church is so blessed because Pastor Bryan does an amazing job sharing what the Lord has put in his heart with all of us!

This past Sunday. His sermon was on Jesus being the only way to get to heaven! He centered his message on the three P's.  Now, I'm not going to tell you what those are all about because I'm not about to plagiarize the wonderful message from Pastor Bryan Jacobs. What I am going to do is give you the opportunity to message me or leave me a comment if you are interested. And if you are, then what I would do is contact Pastor Jacobs and ask him if he would like to share his message perhaps via PowerPoint or I don't know! We don't have to worry about that, because God will work it out! So, it's all good!

What I'm going to say today is Jesus is the only way to heaven. That is what I believe. I respect other people's beliefs. But it's not going to change what I believe. And it definitely does not change or will not change what I believe. And it should not keep me from sharing what I believe with others.  Remember, it's not like I'm forcing them to believe what I believe it's always their decision.

The Bible says in John 3:16 for God so loved the world he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. Also in John chapter 3 it says that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one enters the gates of heaven except through Christ. Let me share something with you guys. If you believe in God, Great!  But if you don't believe in Jesus then that kind of means you don't believe in God because God the Father, God the son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one. Remember the trinity?

I really hope that if that was not how you felt before, your heart is being convicted by what I just shared with you guys! I'm praying for everyone that reads these writings. Have a blessed and wonderful day!
