Good morning! I'm back at Starbucks this morning. As soon as me and Joe got here shortly after it opened at like 5:30-ish, it was so nice to hear one of the workers give me a shout out! John, one of the regular workers acknowledged my presence and said "Hi Sam," as he prepared my hot cup of water for my cold hands.
Anyway to answer my writing for the day, okay, let me just say because I need to repeat and make you guys mindful that since I'm not God I may not be entirely correct in my writing. Remember, these are just my opinions and may be a little correct. They sound good sometimes. Right? LOL
I'm thinking you guys are like me and my husband and wonder why the Lord allow stupid things to happen. Well let me give you some of my deep thoughts.
Joe hates it when it rains and I go out, mainly to Starbucks. It's understandable because once we get to Starbucks he stated I should have checked the weather before coming. He has to get me out and he gets wet which makes him uncomfortable. Honestly there was a little part of me that wanted to chuckle. But that was wrong, but why would I want to do that? That was something trying to mess with my mind, because I can check the weather but God can change it at anytime. It can be sunny and start raining. But, I will check the weather for now on. But I did check it out yesterday but why cancel a lovely outing over a little rain? Now, I am out passing out my cards and inspiration.
By the way my caregiver is typing this out as I speak so I can finish with God's help. So, today me and my caregiver are going on Windy City Live to see two very handsome actors from General Hospital.
So, anyway back to the rain. I titled this, "Why Does Sam Think God Allows Certain Things To Happen!" Well, for this reason. God knows my heart and know that I wanted to go to Windy City live to see two great actors and, the bad thing is Satan the, evil one, also knows something. He doesn't know what's in our mind or hearts. But, because he is smart, he can figure stuff out from a nonverbal action.
I don't know how God feels about testing his children but maybe God allows it to see what our behavior will be like, or maybe not. I really don't know. I am not going to call Joe or myself out, so I am going to say this. Generally speaking, most people don't like to feel uncomfortable. So that may make them harsh towards God's will. I know he wouldn't like that. But I also know if you ask him to forgive you for your mistakes he will.

Romans 8:28 ESV
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Genesis 50:20 ESV
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
