Maybe like every few months or more than that we have visitors that come to our church. These people are called missionaries. We see people from time to time that are missionaries from Ukraine, Uganda, Rwanda, and Japan.
When these people come back for a visit they share their stories and these stories will encourage us! Seriously, if you don't believe in Jesus Christ? Then, stories that we hear from these people may change your mind!
Friends, how could you not feel inspired by these people? Right? They felt in their heart the Lord wanted them to drop everything for Him. And, they were willing to do that! Would you say that you would be willing to do that? That is only a question that I can answer if the time ever comes. It should be a confident response saying yes I will do that and drop everything for the Lord. However, I can say that but can I walk that?
Imagine maybe you have to be willing to leave your family and friends and maybe even go to another country, Lord willing. Maybe, you would have to leave the job that you spent so much money studying and developing your skills for in school. God may be telling you to leave for a place that is known to be pretty dangerous, dark or scary. Definitely something you're unfamiliar with. But, you know you need to go and follow in order to serve God.
I'll say it again. Do you think you would be able to do that? Just drop everything that you are familiar with and welcome things that just are not in your comfort zone. I'll say it again these people are incredible and they totally encourage and inspire me!
I think Joseph from the Bible was kind of like these missionaries. He kind of didn't willingly get out of his comfort zone. But, when he was there he knew he had to make the best of things. And, the best things was done because he had God with him to help!
This man was like the epitome of serving God! Basically, wherever he was, his faith in Gods presence with him and God bringing him aid in all problems he had to undergo was humongous. His whole outlook on life was something we should all seek to emulate.

Matthew 28:16-20 New International Version (NIV)The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with youyou alw, to the very end of the age.”
