I am talking about Noah. Did you guys know? Check this out. This is how the Lord worked.
The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. Genesis 6:5 NIVGod was only thinking evil from all the humans! There was just so much wickedness 24/7! God was so mad! He was about to cover the whole world with water! His mission was to destroy everyone who were being wicked! Noah was a righteous man and God wanted Noah and his family to be saved from what God was about to do.
God warned Noah to make an ark, before doing what God was about to do. God was going to destroy the world with water. God told Noah to construct an ark for the saving of him and his household. It was time for Noah to step up and become truly a leader for his family because this was some serious business. Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:8 Noah led his family to the ark and to safety.
Every time a rainbow comes out, my husband reminds me that this rainbow is God's covenant to us humans that he would never destroy the whole world with water again. Enjoy your Saturday!
Just a side note. Just wanted to share some points my husband just shared with me. He was telling me the next time the Lord decides to destroy the humans in the world he's going to do it with fire. Also, since God destroyed everything on the earth except for Noah and his family, it only makes sense that we come from Noah! Isn't that interesting?
Malachi 4:1 ESV
“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
