Genesis Series Part 77: He Just Won't Do That

Oops, I almost forgot to give a shout out to Andre! He gave me hot water a couple days ago in the afternoon. Andre, I pray you will be encouraged by the writings.  It was so nice to meet you!  Shout out to this lady I met today. She was so nice! Liz, I hope you'd be encouraged by the writings and have a wonderful day! You're awesome!  I also want to give a shout out to my caregiver for the day, Chaimae.

Happy hump day! You know what I was just thinking? I am just so blessed to have the opportunity to write my blog writings. And, I pray that you guys are totally encouraged by my writings and using it to have a good start to your day or end of your day.  It all depends on when you may read it. Just as long as you read it, right? LOL  Let's do this!

My current cat is Giddy, which is short for the Bible character Gideon. She is quite a character. I have no idea what her past was like, but from her actions now she is very well guarded of herself. She really respects mine and my husband's privacy. Well, it wasn't like that in the beginning.

About 6 months ago, when we first got her I remember I would be sitting by the sink in the bathroom, and she would just use the bathroom in her litter. And she does the weirdest thing! She makes like little meatballs with her poop! Yep, she actually still does that now.

It's been almost a half year since we've had her and I'm seeing a lot of changes and signs of respecting. Well, first of all, a couple things that I noticed was that she never really comes in our bedroom anymore, at least not voluntarily. I'd be getting ready in the morning, and she would just stand right almost in our room but she would just stand and look at me.

If Joe would be in the bathroom in front of the mirror fixing his hair, again, she wouldn't go to the bathroom because she knows he's in there fixing his hair. To be honest, I don't know if maybe in the past Joe really yelled at her to make her remember who is the boss! And maybe that totally traumatized her and made her feel that she needed to change. I don't know.

It can actually come across as pretty creepy at times. I know she won't do anything though. I'm just saying that's the way she chooses to look when she's in the middle of respecting us and our belongings.

Kind of like God. Do you ever think about that? He respects us so much. He respects us so much that he wants us to use our noggin and search our hearts and make a decision if we want to embrace Christ as our Lord and savior, or not.

He won't force us to believe in him. I'm pretty sure he would like us to believe in him, however, he won't force it. Nope, he just won't do that.

Proverbs 16:9 ESV

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Joshua 24:15 ESV

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

John 7:17 ESV

If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.

Genesis 2:16-17 ESV

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
