Move

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

—Ephesians 6:10

Before I begin my writing let me first give a shout out to two people. First of all my friend from church I have known since I started meeting with this congregation. Dan, I pray that you would be encouraged by my writings and you have a blessed day! Next I want to give another shout out to this man I just met here at Starbucks. His name is Wayne. Wayne thank you for giving me my hot water and for offering to ask you again if I need another one! I pray that you would be encouraged by my reading. Have a wonderful day!

Okay, how fun! Today I'm going to piggyback on my reading yesterday. Remember how I was writing about how we should finish the race? Well today I'm going to focus on how are you going to finish the race unless you keep moving up, moving forward. Isn't that cool God has like the most awesome of times!

I heard of this thing one time from Pastor Greg Laurie. A man asked him something to the effect of this, " is there a point in you Life where you just don't get tempted anymore and don't think evil thoughts?" Pastor answered the man with yes he reached that point yesterday! Lol Ofcourse Pastor was kidding. There will never be a time where a person will be exempt from Temptation or thinking evil thoughts. You guys all know that right?

Friends, following the Christian is I think probably the most difficult things to do. Wait, let me rephrase that following the Christian Life as directed by God and always being obedient. That is the most difficult thing to do. Check it out as soon as you choose to become a Christian and be a follower of Christ, immediately your adversary, the devil immediately will add you to his daily plan on bringing you down! I'm thinking he will probably have a big meeting with the rest of the Fallen Angels to make sure you were added to that list.

So imagine being in a wrestling match with the Devil. Cuz that's really what it is. But the best news is we have the full armor of God  We can choose to put it on when we get in the ring. That is the belt of Truth, the breastplate of righteousness, Shield of faith, helmet of my salvation, sword of the spirit, and gospel of my peace!.

Friends, we need to put on the full armor of God! Let me end with some words from Pastor Greg Laurie:

"This spiritual fight will rage on until the final day. So keep your armor on. Be aware and alert. And constantly move forward" (GL)

Mercy Me: Move
