Hi, before I get into my reading this morning. I had to give a shout out to Heather. Heather is this nice woman I met at my doctor's appointment yesterday. Let me tell you the Lord sure does make ways for us to know what we need to know. Member I was having this weird cough and losing my voice? Well, I emailed my MS doctor a couple days ago and I told him what was up. And, I said what should I do? He was saying just come to the Clinic. I love being his favorite! :-) So, yesterday we went to the University of Chicago hospital and he saw me, spoke to me, examined me, recommended stuff that I should do. Then he noticed something. So, he left for a little bit and contacted the swallowing and throat people across the hall.
That is when I met Heather. She wanted me to come in and have another swallow study. I had one before some years ago, but since MS is a progressive disease she wanted me to come in and have that study again. Then I said, "Oh, that study where we had to drink that barium yuck! It was so gross!"
Then my MS doctor jumps in and says something like basically I need to take a test like that to see what's going on because it could turn into pneumonia and if not treated you could die. After what he said, I was on board to do that swallow test. So, that test is coming up soon.
So, Heather I guess it was meant to meet you yesterday LOL. Thank you for being so helpful and nice and I pray that you will be encouraged by the writings! See you in a couple weeks!
I just noticed my title, at first glance seems a bit selfish. Doesn't it? Well, my deep thought was telling me that there are specific times when it's okay to be selfish. For example I'm thinking how about Brides on their wedding day should have that one day of being selfish. Give them that one day to get all they want to make their wedding the most beautiful and memorable day of their lives. Believe me that doesn't happen for everybody but I think they should at least have that.
And, on a more serious note, we need to really understand, realize, and hopefully be okay with something. And, that something is this world that we live in is temporary! You may not want to think about it. You may be feeling scared right now. But, I'm sorry I'm just trying to remind you because it's important.
None of us humans here have Ultra Galactic super powers. Nobody is psychic, no one can read minds and have telepathy, and no one has something like that of the force!
I remember one-time speaking to one of my Aunties, recently became a born-again Christian. She truly understood what it means to save yourself.
She now goes to a different Church then some of her family and friends. I was curious so I asked how did they feel about that? How did My aunt feel about that?
I have no idea if it is like this now. Probably not as much. But of course the friends and the family they were angry with my aunt. However, my aunt said to me they don't understand just pray for them. Her family and her friends were not going to go with her when she dies.
What a great reminder to me that the Lord is truly is number one! She was right who cares if other humans are angry with you for doing something that will make the Lord happy! She had faith that her family and friends would come around and their relationship would be restored! God made that happen!
She had faith in John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his one seeand only son the who show that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.
