FAITH

Yesterday afternoon, be I was still here at Starbucks, because I had therapy. So, Joe and I were able to go straight to therapy as soon as you got off work. I was kind of bored. So, I decided to see if I had the strength and my fingers and I need some retouching of my makeup. Oh wow remember I am a lot weaker later in the day than when I do my makeup in the morning. Anyway, when I was putting on my powder my sponge fell on the floor. I  asked this gentleman who was kitty corner next to me, if he can get it for me. He said his name and I wasn't able to get it. Then he said he would write it down and then I said I wouldn't be able to read it. Then he suggested that he emailed me. So he did just that. So, to my new friends, Atul Talwar and Dhamitha Arsakularatna DeFonseka, thank you again for picking of my sponge for my makeup yesterday. And pray that the two of you will be encouraged by the writings! Hope you had and we'll have again another great day!

Today thank you to Catherine for giving me my second cup of hot water for my cold hands. Girl, I pray you will be encouraged by the writings.

Also, thank you to Alvin who I met today. Thanks again for zipping up my makeup bag. And, thank you to Danny for picking up my Cubs hat that fell on the floor. I pray that you Alvin, Danny, and the two men sitting next to me yesterday will be encouraged by the writngs!

What I want to talk about is what Jesus wants us to have. It's what we all are given a choice to have or not have. And, today it's exactly what George Michael singing about in the song I just turned here at Starbucks.

I'm talking about "Faith." Friends, please ask yourselves do I have faith? Am I pretty sure I know what is going to happen to me after I die? If not, then I suggest you reach out to a believer in Christ. Maybe, a pastor or liturgico person, family member or friend who knows Jesus Christ. Hey, if you feel comfortable enough you can try reaching out to me and I wouldn't mind speaking with you! I feel like I do everyday lol :-)

Perhaps, you were saying something like I'm not into that " faith" stuff. I beg to differ. What about when you see a doctor and he tells you what exactly is wrong with you and what medicine you are supposed to take. Isn't that about you having faith and complete Trust in someone who is giving you advice and counsel of your well-being?

Okay I'm going to end with an equation. I know that I've shared this before. Maybe a couple times before? That is this. FAITH EQUALS SALVATION PLUS GOOD WORKS.

Oops I had to go back and give a shout out to Erika. Erika thank you for giving me the hot water! My hands feel so much better! I pray you will be encouraged by the writing!

1 John 5: 11-12 says this.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.( 1 John 5 11-12

Do you have that faith? are you my brother or sister in Christ? Will I see you in heaven?
