Power Series Part 63: Power Of The Body

Play for the Audio Version
Now, if we want to talk about power. We definitely have to target the body. First, let's look at the human body. If the human body does not have eyes, then that wouldn't be too good. However, thanks to God and his great smartness, he also made it so the body could have ears, a mouth, legs, and other parts in the body. See oh, we know that each part is significant because it has their own job or function. It won't be totally complete without the other. It won't successfully showcase what it's really about and what it can really do!

Perhaps there are times when a certain part of the body cannot contribute maybe due to being injured. That is when another part of the body may step in to help. Or, if not, that's okay. I'm sure God had that in mind before as well and had a back-up plan.

Now, let's look at the church body. First, we have the pastor/liturgical speaker. The congregation is being spoken to by the person. Then, we have the music or drama part of the service. This is comprised of people who were gifted with such talent in music or drama. Then, we have the person sharing announcements of things that will give people the choice to participate in an act of serving or sacrificial sharing. We also have the offering part of the service. This is when people can give their tithes and offerings as an act of obedience to the Lord.

Every service is different in events and or order of events. What matters is that there are times of worship to God, times of greeting other fellow attendees in the service, Etc.

Just like the human body has different characteristics that need to be in function in order to be at its best, the Church body should also be doing their job.
