Power Series Part 67: Power Of Being Content

Can you honestly say that you feel content? Are you content with whom you are dating or are married to? Are you content with the career you have? Are you content with your life?

I'm thinking that there may come a time where anyone of us may not feel content. Maybe a temporary feeling? Could be permanent? Feelings could change from time to time? I don't know that.

I am guessing, we should be contenr right where we are. We should because we know that's where and how God put us. So, that was my guess right? And, the Apostle Paul says this. ‘Don’t be wishing you were someplace else or with someone else. Where you are right now is God’s place for you’ (v.17, MSG)

I guess I was thinking correctly. No doubt, the right Deep Thoughts were due to the Holy Spirit planting those thoughts in my heart.

Oh, difficult it is stay that way though right? I mean the whole feeling of being and staying content. Especially, as soon as something better, like more attractive, a job with more pay, more benefits. More of this or better that.

Folks, we really should stop thinking so deeply about what could have been. And, concentrate on the now, and the what actually is. Because the could have is long gone. So, we need to stop and let the past go and be a distant memory. Embrace, thank God, and be content with what God allowed to happen in your life. Because, he only wants what's good for us!
