Power Series Part 91: Power of Character

Play for the Audio Version

Somebody's character can either make or break the deal when it comes to this. Continuing in conversation with someone. Getting on an acquaintance or friends level with someone. Knowing one's name. Finding about their own character.  Do you guys agree?

Is my deep thought pretty legit? Think about it. I'll give you a few seconds......... Yep, I knew you'd agree. :) Because it makes perfect sense. Nobody wants to be around a " Debbie Downer " so to speak. People wanna be around happy people and high spirited people. Because 1 can only hope some of their positive energy will rub off on them.

Here's a big plus to having high-spirited, gorgeous and exquisite characters not low spirited, ugly or hideous characters around you.

People who know God can have that positive character most people love to be around. I definitely am not saying or thinking it would be all the time that someone be Mr. or Ms. happy. You probably should be all about the positive energy type of character at all times. However, take it from me, it's definitely not at all times. I mean it's definitely not all the time feelings of happy energy, positive thoughts, and Beautiful Smiles. Like I said before it probably should be, but take it from me all the time? Nope. Not going to happen.

Fellow children of God, we need to take advantage when we are in the ( happy, high-spirited, lovely, enjoyable, fun and other moods of the like. To reiterate, those are kinds of characters I know people would like to be around and speak with. And, if those other people are not believers and don't really know anything about God, then Believers who have a beautiful character, go ahead and shine! Shine with the glory of Christ! Use your positive energy 2 passionately speak and tell all people who don't know the gospel story of Jesus Christ! Now is the time for those unbelievers you are speaking with to be a believer because they have heard and believed of what you have shared with them!

Wow, there really is power in the word character. Fellow Believers, it is our decision about how we want to utilize that power in our character. :-)

Colossians 3:12-15

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful

Matthew 28:18‭, ‬20 NIV
