Serenity

Play for the Audio Version

Hey guys I'm back. Let me give a shout out to this nice woman Anna. Anna was at McDonald's when we were there today and just started talking to Glady. Glady told Anna that she was my caregiver,Glady told the woman I was sweet and she loved me!

The woman, Anna, said I looked sweet. That was nice. Anna, I pray you will be encouraged by the writings and thank you for accepting my card! Have a wonderful day!

I also want to give a shout out to Rosie! Rosie was our nice cashier at the store Mariano's. Rosie, thank you for accepting my card! I pray you will be encouraged by the readings! Have a wonderful day!

Like my title for the days reading? I knew I wanted to write about "peace," but I remembered I already have a title "Peace," out of my thousand+ writings. So, I tried thinking of something else that was somewhat similar to the meaning of peace. Then came to my mind, the word serenity!

I once read from one of my readings from Pastor Greg Laurie this. "If one truly wants to overcome fear and worry then you need the right thinking." What does that mean you may be thinking?

It's all in your thoughts. And, I believe there's a Bible verse talking about us keeping the peace when we trust in Jesus if we just fix our eyes or thoughts on him. I'll look it up so I can get it verbatim.
Something to think about.

Don't we all want peace/serenity? Yes, I believe we all want that. I just thought of Sandra Bullock from the movie Miss Congeniality and in the end, she was saying I really do want World Peace. Sorry okay back to the reading.

The question is how do we get that? I think that's exactly the thing.
We try so hard to want to feel
that peace or serenity within ourselves. And, I don't know about you guys but that's pretty tiring.  See, friends if you just accept Jesus I promise you will feel peace. A peace that you've never felt before in your life!

I'm using my caregiver as an example again. The only way my caregiver was able to forgive and still have peace after the tragic death of her three-year-old boy and girl twins and cousin is because of this. Jesus! She has that feeling of serenity that Jesus promises to us if we just ask him to live in our hearts and be our personal savior!

Are you mad about something? Tell him! Yell at him! If you need to swear at Him. I've done this. We've all done it. And the best part is Jesus understands. We might not understand. My beloved friends, we need to accept Jesus because he says that he will give us the free gift of salvation. We will have peace if we would just accept him. Again, remember my opinion. :)
