DTFS Promise Series Part 33: Promise Of Approval

Play for the Audio Version

Shout out to Dominique! She was our waitress at the restaurant we went to, Pappadeaux,  for Joe's, birthday lunch this past Thursday,  with his family this past, Thursday. Girl you were awesome helping me decide on my order LOL! I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Thanks for accepting my card!

Are you guys thinking what on earth is Sam going to be writing about today? Promise of approval? What?Yep, first of all what I need you to do is this. I need you  guys to think a little bit out of the box. No, maybe more like a lot of bit outside the box. :) You know what that one word is that is the opposite of approval? You know what that one word is?  Let me tell you. That word is "judging."

And, fellow Christians, non-believers, really basically any human that has breath judges others. That is definitely something we shouldn't do. Yes, because if you think about it
Once that bad deep thought of judging someone will pop in your mind, it will eventually grow and get worse and come out of your mouth and say something that will probably hurt somebody really bad or make them very angry. And, we wouldn't want that. Would we? No, we wouldn't.

I confess to doing that. Maybe, it didn't come out? Or, maybe it did?
Both parties had to suffer the consequences. The person doing the judging felt bad for hurting the person with their hurtful judging comments. The person who got judged got hurt.

That's why, it is best, no it is crucial very imperative for one to stop, heck, to not even start openly judging someone. Shoot I would venture to say and I would definitely suggest not even starting to judge someone in your mind.Because, that deep thought will fester and keep growing to be a very negative result.

Believe me, that is what the evil one really wants. For 1 to have such bitterness and anger towards other parties.
Friends we don't want to do that. We need to let God do the controlling of other people's heart and the judging. So my advice is to stop the judging before you even start!

There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?

Romans 2:1-3

Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God?

Ephesians 4:29

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
