Approval Of One

Of course, when I was still a young little thing all the way up to the times I got married, if I really wanted to do something or if I really wanted something my mother and father were who I needed approval from.

 After I got married I was only concerned with getting the approval of one person. And, that is my husband. If I needed to make really big decisions, Joe, would be the final decision maker. I mean I definitely was not a doormat. I would be welcome to share my opinion about certain things concerning the final decision as well. However, I know the final say would come from Joe. He is my Spiritual leader. The Good Lord speaks to me through my husband. I need to trust that. Good Lord knows that I try. However, he also knows I can be a little stubborn and hard-headed when it comes to obeying or trusting my husband. That is just something I need to work more on following. That's definitely a personal prayer request.

Now, before I am to follow through and obey my parents.... before I am to follow through and obey my husband... I first need to ask myself this. " with what they are telling me to do ?Would that be obeying the Lord? God is really the number one approval! Once I get that clarity, then I can go about my business. Basically, it's all about the approval of one! And, that one belongs to God
