How could I not write about this? I kid you not! For the past 2 days the channel I usually watch has been
enveloped by one thing. And, can you guess what that one thing is? Let me tell you. And, I will say 2 words. And, that is this Impeachment, and President Trump. Oops, maybe that's three words.
Here's my opinion. I don't know the guy personally. I really have no opinion about him. All I know is that the Lord allowed him to be the president of the United States. If I voted for him or if I didn't vote for him, really doesn't matter because I repeat the Lord allowed him to be the president of the United States.
What does that mean? Well, that means he is our authority. How does the Lord feel about that? I believe he says many times in the word that he wants us to follow Authority.
I'm pretty sure that means we need to do just that. I repeat follow authority. Be very mindful, that the Lord God is our number #1 Authority.
If Authority #2 is telling us to do something totally against God's will, then sorry number 2 remember the Lord God is our number one! So, we must follow first the number one priority.
I don't know about you guys but, don't you just feel blessed that we live a country where we do not have a president that will make us do heinous or crazy things! We live in a country where we won't be beheaded for having a certain religion or worshiping Jesus Christ. We are blessed to have freedom!
I have heard on TV, read in magazines, or seen on the internet stories. Horrible stories of people suffering dire consequences for doing things because they are choosing to follow their number one Authority.
So, my ending deep thought is this. Maybe, we should really stop messing with the authority that God put in our lives. Because, if we do that isn't it like saying to God he did not or does not know what he is doing. Wouldn't it be like we're telling God that he doesn't know what's best for our lives? Isn't it like we're saying God is not following through with what he says about knowing what's best for our lives?
I don't know about you guys, but I don't want
God to think I think like that. Do you?
Let me ask you something. Do you believe that God knows what he's doing? Then if so maybe it's time to respect his decision for our lives. What do you think?
