other people may relate with as well.
This person used to work at a clothing store. Again, the name does not need to be disclosed. Actually, I don't even know the name. This person busted their butt off and gave their 170% to this company every time they worked.
It really is quite sad because this person felt so under appreciated even though this person really worked so hard! They would contribute more than needed. They would volunteer to give their services when no one else would. They really would just make themselves available when their fellow co-workers or customers needed help. I believe you guys get the gist.
Never, not once did this person get an, " I appreciate you for all your hard work." "I so
appreciate you for all you do for this company." "I appreciate you for always being the first one to offer help when needed." I appreciate you for being that someone when there was always a no one!
I appreciate you for...." That was all this person wanted. That was not what this person received....ever!"
Would this person hear others get some appreciation?
I don't think so. Maybe, maybe not. However, why not this person? This person just didn't understand. Why not this person?
Today, I'm talking about feeling undervalued. I'm sure there is someone right now reading this that has felt undervalued, is feeling undervalued, or will in the future feel undervalued.
I've heard it pretty much sucks! I get it. There may be people out there who really could care less if they're receiving appreciation. That's just not their cup of tea. However, I think the majority of people do care. Do you care about that kind of stuff? Maybe, you don't think you do. Once someone says," I appreciate you!" Oh, I think your mindset will "reroute" your thinking to, "I do care!"
Friends, everyone, I mean everyone should learn something from my writing today. Well, my prayer is that everyone will learn something from all of my writings. However, particularly just for today, how about we all take a little time out of our day today and do this.
I think that we all should tell someone something like this. " Hey, (so and so), I
Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate you! I know you do so much for me. And, you don't have to. But, I really thank God for providing someone to be of help to me!
I could make a laundry list of
things you do for me that make me appreciate you. I know you do all you do because you care!"
Watch those words put a smile on someone's face! :) Just watch! :) And, no I'm not saying this should just be for wives to make husbands feel appreciated.
Although, this is definitely a "should do" type of thing when it comes to most husbands. However, I think this goes for anyone!
Being a wife, I will tell you it does not hurt one bit when we make our husband feel appreciated or valued! Totally shows husbands their wives' respect for them!
You know who I think was really undervalued in the Bible? Jesus! You know Judas Iscariot sold him for just 30 pieces of silver. Seriously, dude that's how much you think Jesus was worth? I guess it was lucky for Mr. Iscariot, Jesus didn't get mad at him for thinking he was worth such a little amount. Heck, Jesus didn't even get mad at Judas
for ratting him out! Jesus was totally cool. He was going to die for all people anyway. That was actually God's will. And, most people are blessed because Jesus chose to Follow God's will! I think what we have to realize is that Jesus didn't have to. But he did. And, because he chose to follow God's will, we can be saved. We can go to heaven if we choose Him. We have the choice. What about you? Did you choose Wisely? Will I one day see you in heaven?
Aren't we pretty blessed? Perhaps, not in particular ways. However, how about just being alive. I would think that would be a blessing!
Wouldn't you think so too? Our value is only What God Says. And Jesus thinks we are worth dying for! Thank you Jesus

It can be discouraging when you serve and don’t feel appreciated for what you do. When no one says “thank you” or “good job.” It’s in the those times that we have to look to WHO we’re actually serving.
Colossians 3:23
says, “Whatever you do, work at it
God sees every piece of laundry you pick up and every piece of paperwork you file. He sees every time you bow to your knees to pray and every morning you wake up early to help someone else.
He’s the one you’re serving and He see you.
