Work It

Play for the Audio Version
Example A has been praying to get this job at this one company doing things. Example B had  been praying they would marry this one person.  Example C had been praying they would end up purchasing this one beautiful home.

This is what happened. God ended up answering yes to Example A, B, and C's prayer request.  Yup, God answered all their requests in their favor.

Example A loved the new job! Example B loved their spouse. And, example C loved  their new home. That was how A, B, and C felt in the very beginning of when the Lord answered their prayers.

Then, something happened. Things started to change. Example A's new job was starting to get more challenging and much more difficult.

Example B? Their marriage was on the rocks!  They never thought they would fight and argue as much as they did. They were about to get a divorce.

Example C?  Both spouses did not really like to clean. So, you can imagine how messy things were. Pun intended.

As the years went by A,B, and C's prayers that God favorably answered seemed to be going downhill.

Basically, really what I am trying to make you guys see is this. Yup, there is no telling of how God will answer your prayer. Could be your yes? Or, he could be saying No?

What if the prayer ended up to be in your favor? I think if that were to happen? Would God be thinking something like this. "Ok, You are welcome. I did my part. Now I believe it is your turn to work!" God is not going to do all the work for us.

Please don't misunderstand. I am pretty sure that God is more than capable of doing any type of work. However,  having us humans do the work? I guess that's just his preferred style of action! Remember God always knows what's best for us!

Colossians 3:23

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Proverbs 14:23

In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.

1 Corinthians 3:9

For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Genesis 2:15

The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

Working for God not 4 man
