LOST JOE

      Play For The Audio
                  Version

I always remember this one story my husband told me about himself when he was 8 years old.  He was still living in the Philippines.

One day, he and his Auntie were at SM ( big shopping mall) in Manila, Philippines. Joe and his Auntie got separated. Guess what happened next?

I am always impressed,  and surprised when hearing what happened next.   I am pretty sure if this story was about me What happened next would be turn on the different.  I probably would have thrown a tantrum. Cried out for my parents. I would not have settled down until someone paid attention to me.

Joe, on the other hand, is not like me. When him and his Auntie lost contact with each other Joe remained calm. He ended up buying what he needed to buy. Then, he walked home. SM was not too far from his home. His biggest obstacle he had to overcome was crossing a very busy highway. Once he got home, worrying stopped

What comes to mind are us humans.  Some of us are so lost. Others  may be so lost but they don't want to be found.   Reasons why people don't want to know God vary.

What about you? Are you one that knows God already? Are  you someone that is  lost? Are you still feeling lost and don't want to be found?

Isaiah 41:10 l

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
