The Cheater

Play For The Audio Version

You know what?  I would like to talk to the cheaters for a few minutes. People who have been unfaithful to their loved one. See, Satan and his demons love to attract the vulnerable by putting what tempts them to sin in their face. So, yeah that means  demons may plant in the lady's mind to dress all sexy, smell so lovely, wear makeup so they can look so pretty.

Then, comes the man. Satan will continue to open opportunities so you will fall. Men? Where are you meeting your lady friend? Is it a place where the  2 of you will be alone together behind closed doors for several hours? Men?  What exactly are you wearing?  Are you wearing that famous cologne your wife absolutely loves because it makes you smell so good that no woman could ever resist? Did both of you even tell anyone where you will be for the next few hours? You know in case people needed to get a hold of you?

Am I speaking pretty loud and clear to someone right now?  Yeah? Is it starting to make more sense now? Yeah it wasn't your fault that you cheated!  It was totally satan's fault! He is the one that made you do it!

Well, no actually he didn't make you do anything. He made your scenery attractive and you, the human did the rest. So, it was all your fault. All the evil ones did was tempt you. And, you my friend fell into temptation.  So, the cheating was 100% your fault.

What comes to mind is the 1st sin. When the serpent tempted Eve in the garden of Eden. The serpent was so malicious. He made Eve think twice about what God said. He made Eve doubt God. He made Eve question God's authority.

We must keep in mind that the 2 humans did the sin all by themselves.  Eve is the one that chose to take a bite of the forbidden fruit.  She could have clearly said to the serpent no!  Nobody actually force fed her.

Same goes for Adam.  He could have stopped Eve dead in her tracks and said " Woah there hold up! Get that fruit away from me! " But, he didn't. And,  because of their poor decisions that leads us to what we have today.

I would like to revisit the example I made with the cheating couple. There definitely were ways this man and woman could have helped stop them from cheating. Maybe, these steps will help You not cheat.

1. DO NOT BE ALONE JUST THE TWO OF YOU. BRING A THIRD PERSON IF THATS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. I trust you'll think of a good accountability partner.

2. Meet in a public area. Not an enclosed space. Like a hotel room.

3. DON'T WEAR SEXY CLOTHING.

4. Don't spend extra time making yourself look pretty by perfecting your makeup.

5. Don't bother wearing any perfume or cologne that will make you irresistible.

6. Tell your spouse where you will be and for how long.

7. Have your spouse pick you up. So, you don't accidentally stay longer

Personally, I think the best thing is to make sure you bring another person with you. The 3rd party would probably work out best. But, I don't know because everybody would be in different predicaments. That is why I tried to think of other " Plan B's."

I really do hope that my Deep Thoughts were helpful to someone today. Maybe my Deep Thoughts helped in saving someone's marriage. Wow, wouldn't that be something? That would be so encouraging to me! Would you guys let me know?

Hebrews 13:4

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Exodus 20:14

“You shall not commit adultery.

Proverbs 6:32

He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself

  1. For the women that try to lure a married man to meet them, God will never send a married man to a single woman. They are under Satan’s power and are not Godly women!
Happy New Year! See you Wednesday night!

  2. It takes a second to ruin a marriage for a lifetime and a lifetime to repair it.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Three isn't always a crowd.
