Hey you! Yes I'm talking to you. Well, unless there is someone else there with you. Of course he or she is welcome to listen too!

Do you believe in Jesus coming back to the Earth one day? Well, maybe the question I should ask first is do you believe in Jesus? Right? Don't you think that's a better question?

I titled the writing for the day "Unexpected." Why? Well, specifically for the believers, when Jesus comes back to Earth? It's gonna be the best surprise of their life. Believers will be beyond happy!

And, specifically for the unbelievers? Well, the return of Jesus will again surprise you like a thief coming in the night! And, I don't think it's going to be even close to being the best surprise of their life. I don't think unbelivers will be happy at all.

I think the important thing we all need to understand? Believers and unbelievers? Folks please listen! Your eternity depends on it!

I mean I don't have the power to rearrange the wires in your brain to change the way you think.

Nope. It's not going to be a poof there it is! Type thing.

You know who does have the power to change your mind unbeliever? Yep you guessed it. The omniscient, the omnipresent, and our omnipotent God!

However. Yup. There is a huge however. And, that is this. God chooses not to use His power to do that. Why you ask? Because He wants us to choose to follow Him ourselves. He wants us to decide for ourselves to believe! God wants us to decide for ourselves if we want to follow Jesus!

Remember we have the gift of free will! You know folks I didn't always know this. Once you begin your walk with God, He may lead you to more mature Christians like maybe pastors or older spiritual mentors. Or, your eyes will just be opened when you read The Bible!

I am no Bible scholar. I will say I am a Bible studyer. Oh, I have been a follower of Jesus Christ since I was 15. It is kind of sad because I'm 41 now and I'm just now being an avid bible studyer. I guess better late than never! Really late!

Let me end by speaking to the believers. I am pretty sure non believers will probably tune me out. If they haven't already that is. But, I believe they can encourage their believer friends. Again, I don't know if or why they would even do that. Hey anything is possible!

I wanted to say I don't know where you are in your Bible reading. But, if you would say you don't? You don't read your Bible? You don't have a Bible? Please let me know. I'm sure we have an extra New Testament here we can give out. Or, I'm sure we can figure something out. If you are really interested in studying more about the Bible? My husband leads a Bible study on Zoom. So many w possibilities if u want to know more about God!

1 Thessalonians 5:1‭, ‬3‭-‬5 NLT

Now, concerning how and when all this will happen, dear brothers and sisters, we don’t really need to write you. When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape. But you aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night.

So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Revelation 1:7

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and eavery eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen
