Play For The Audio Version

Sure I will do that! Passionately and excitedly I say that. I am referring to sharing the gospel and verbally telling people about Jesus.
Now, is that a good thing? Well, yeah if you ask me. I am a Iover of Jesus.

Time out. Or as I usually say? Pause break! We had our weekly bible study a few days ago. My husband and I have been hosting this since the start of the pandemic. My husband is an amazing leader! God has truly gifted him in teaching and making the word of God better understandable for all! I am so blessed by his teachings. Talk about a way to spread the good news of Jesus!

After many years of wanting to share Christ with people I noticed unbelievers don't really like hearing about the name Jesus! Do you guys ever notice that? Are some people scared of hearing his name? Because they're feeling bad about what they are doing
in their life?

Anyway, during our study the other day we came across the subject of sharing the gospel! I didn't know but? My zeal for God is pretty strong-winded, so to speak!

To my surprise, my dad was speaking my praise of boldly sharing the name of Jesus. He was saying how I know everything about The Bible . And, saying that I was not afraid of telling people about Jesus!

Um? And, to that, I say this. Well thanks, dad. And to that, I say some of what he said is not entirely true. One part is very true.

Can you guess what's not true? What's not true is this. Saying Sam knows everything about the Bible.

Sam does not know every little thing about the Bible. I mean I have a heart that desires to want to know more and more about the Bible. That is why I fervently choose to read the Bible and study the Bible more than the next person.

I feel that if someone wants to know.... Does this person really want to know how the Lord wants them to live their life? Then they need to read the Bible.

Another thing that is not true is this.  My dad says that I am not afraid when I share the name of Jesus. And, to that I say " Yeah I am! Well sometimes. Yeah,  maybe not that many times! :)  But, it's still a little scary, sometimes.

See, when we pray to God? That is us speaking to him. Reading the Bible is God speaking back to us. He is speaking life!

I sometimes hear from people. "Oh, I don't understand what the Bible says!" If that is your reason why you don't read the bible? Then I say do you know there are different translations? For all people to better understand.

I will also say that maybe you should find a friend to read with you. Think about it. If you suddenly sparked an interest to want to q the Bible? Maybe the same thing happened to your friend?

Beloved, you might get shocked! If you pray and ask God to lead someone to you that can read with you. Pray for someone to help you better understand?

I am pretty sure once the Lord sees your passion of wanting to know more about the Bible? Don't be surprised if He leads s'omeone your way to read the Bible with you!

I'm not sure what exactly he would do. However, I'm pretty sure He will provide some way for you to get the word of God in your system! I am pretty sure God knows how valuable accountability partners are. How we so need them!

Before I end my reading for the day with some Bible verses I would like to end with this. The Bible is God's instruction to all people on how we all should live life!

"The Life Application Study Basible" is a Study Bible published by both Tyndale House and Zondervan Publishers. It features extensive notes, book introductions, character studies, articles, commentary, maps, and charts. (GA)

And, if you are really interested? You are more than welcome to join Ohana. We meet every Sunday at 2 PM central time/ 3 PM Eastern time, 12 pm Pacific time, 4 AM Monday morning Philippines time.

Meetings are on Facebook messenger.  Yeah! You don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home if you wish.

Let me guess. Are you saying you don't originally have a Facebook account? To that I say this. It doesn't matter. There are some  members who did not originally have a Facebook account as well. But, there are members in this  group that will help you make one just so you can join the group. Similar to  what some of our other members do.

I remember one time before, 1 of my members did not yet have an account on Facebook. So, another member would have him on video chat or facetime on their phone.  So, that was a way for the person to join the group. That was funny!

Hey at least
it got the people to join our group regularly.  These people just ended up making a Facebook account just for our meetings. They found that to be  much easier.

How encouraging! Seeing what people would do just to be in our group! Ohana has been meeting together since the start of the pandemic.

A devoted member of the group Fred, says that Joe has good teaching and his teaching makes it better for him to understand the Bible more. He says, reading the bible makes him more convinced that the words of God are the tools we need to be closer to him. Those are his feelings.

What comes to mind is what most of the members said one day. They were saying that they look forward to meeting every week for our Ohana Bible study. They said that these meetings are the highlight to their week!

If you would like to join us this Sunday? Perhaps, you too want to see what all the hype is about.  Do you want to know why people are taking time out of their busy schedules to join the study and experience the teachings of Joe?

Is God speaking to your heart? Please let me know and we will send you an invitation on Facebook Messenger.  Or find some way to contact you. Hope you can join us!
